A ridge climb that is mainly a descent - with two main abseils and stunning views this is a suitable ridge for those wanting to challenge themselves while climbing a famous peak of 5000m.

Peak 1 - 2 Ridge:
This ridge line goes from the start of the trail of the first peak to base camp and then to the top of the first peak at 5025m down to another slope on the second peak. Mostly traveling downhill on the ridge, you will encounter two abseils while being guided down and eventually making your way back to the base camp of the second peak. (You could go up to the second peak if you feel up for it, that will take you to 5276m.
Time requirements: 5-6 days
You will need time to acclimatize for 2-3 days in the town of Siguniang in order to climb over 5000m.
The climb requires one day to the 1st peak BC; one day up to the peak and down the ridge to 2nd peak BC; one last night at 2nd peak BC and then return to the town and Chengdu.
Peak 2 - 3 Ridge:
Starting off going up the third peak to base camp, you head up and end at the saddle between the third and second peaks. From here at about 4900m, you go up the ridgeline for over 1km and make your way up the peak of the second peak at 5276m. It is a challenging climb with steep terrain and sheer drops on each side. A must-do for alpine enthusiasts!
Eventually, you also make your way down from the second peak to base camp to rest for the night.
Time requirements: 5-6 days
You will need time to acclimatize for 2-3 days in the town of Sigunaing in order to climb over 5000m.
The climb requires one day to 3rd peak BC; one day up the ridge and back to 2nd peak BC; last day back to the town and return to Chengdu.
